During the 2015 year we have established the European Whip Cracking Association together with our British colleagues. This E.W.C.A is being covered by the Western Arts Club as only and oldest existing European branch of the original Wild West Arts Club.
Membership dues are still one-time entry fee of £ 20; until we can offer more benefits arising from the WAC membership, we will charge no other fees. For existing members with member cards "for all life" no other club fees apply. Membership dues are supposed to improve the existing level of all competitions mainly in the form of an appreciation of all the competition categories.
Now we are seeking to create a real membership basewe would like to publish on our website
and became a full European EWCA clubmember. Another strategy we will consult with our British and other foreign partners.
The specific advantages for the WAC members are:
Free WACmember card, WAC club sign, WAC patch, WAC sticker, personal photography and own short story published on the WAC and EWCA website.
10% discount on – entry fee, western schools, Camp Indiana accommodations, Western equipment rental (whip, rope, colts, holsters, throwing tomahawks and knifes), rentals in the Tourist Stamp rental house (bikes, scooters, electric bikes, skis, boats, etc.). Other benefits you will be informed about.
Our currentactivities are not aimed toward Western direction only though the core remains unchanged. Traditional competitions such as the Grand Prix Indiana, Open Show...further continue.
There is still the rule of more than four foreign participants meaning restoration of the European Whip Cracking Championship which succeeded in 2015. We plan to organize the European Championship in other countries as well due to a cooperation with our other colleagues.
WAC focuses increasingly on versatile artistic activity. These may be many kinds, let´s mention theatrical production for axample or some other productions with cooperation with other artistic professionals. We strive to get the greatest diversity in our art activities as we do not want to remain at one pointonly though the western skills are the foundation of our club base.
